Pride of Namibia

Namibian Film Wins at International Film Festival

A film titled “Pride of Namibia” has won the Best Short Film award at the largest film festival in the United States. The film was produced by the World Wildlife Fund and is about empowered communities and responsible tourism in Namibia. It was shown at the Wild and Scenic Festival in the United States on Monday night. A total of 4,500 films were submitted at the festival, of which 130 were official selections and the “Pride of Namibia” film came out on top in the short film category.
