Ambassador Nashandi met with Dr. Adesina at an event co-hosted by the African Development Bank and Canada on the sidelines of the World Bank-IMF Spring meetings in Washington, D.C. Canada announced a $1.1 billion commitment in temporary callable capital to support the African Development Bank.

Implementation Protocols for the International Tourism Revival Initiative

As from 01 September 2020, Namibia re-opens the Hosea International Airport to international tourists. This is a targeted initiative for leisure travelers and will be reviewed bi-weekly and amend as necessary.

All visitors will must adhere to current safety and health regulations under the COVID-19 State of Emergency. Regulations can be obtained at www.namibiatourism.com.na.
