Ambassador Nashandi met with Dr. Adesina at an event co-hosted by the African Development Bank and Canada on the sidelines of the World Bank-IMF Spring meetings in Washington, D.C. Canada announced a $1.1 billion commitment in temporary callable capital to support the African Development Bank.

ExxonMobil is one of the world’s largest publicly traded oil and gas companies, it is one of the world’s largest refiner of petroleum products. The company entered Namibia in August 2018, to explore for offshore oil. The company will soon open an office in Windhoek.
